I love Google's quote of the day widget. One of Tuesday's quotes was:

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. - Hunter S. Thompson

It instantly sent me back to my Telus days when I was working with a friend of mine Paul, who is a big Hunter S. Thompson fan. During our 3-4 year stint as being co-workers, I learned a lot from him about life, love, laughs and of course Hunter S. Thompson.

When I left Telus, he gave me the book "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" and to this day, I take it with me to read on any resort vacation and I still get a good laugh out of it.
